Chikuyu Johns

Is a leading figure in avant-garde poetry.  He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad performing his poetry.

Chikuyu Johns, is the author of "MY WORDS", an avant-garde poetry book, "EVERYBODY KNOWS ME, A Questions and answers book for second, third, fourth, and fifth graders about Africa, "I'LL STAND TALL", a book of short stories on every letter of the alphabet, CHIKUYU JOHNS' POETRY DON'T LIE", a book of poems about yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and  an art book entitled "FINE MUSCLE WOOD DRAWING", A unique art expression Chikuyu staarted in 1985, which is colorful and exciting, and captures many aspects of human life, from plants, animals, nature, men, women, children, and the anatomy of the human body.   He was able to receive a copyrwrite for this unique art work from the Libarary of Congress.
